Studio progress

Studio practice is progressing well. A number of interesting things have happened, most notably that I have now departed from painting portraits. I have had three large panels fabricated - 2200mm x 1200mm.  For some time they stood, stacked up against the studio wall, taking up a great deal of space.  Then, at a point notable for absolutely nothing, I pulled out one panel, stood it against the wall, and started painting.  I have chosen a small brush, and am using a limited palette of Van Dyke brown, cadmium red, titanium white and black.  It is starting to look interesting to me.
